UPDATE 2/TROPICAL DEPRESSION (93B) | DATE: 10 JUNE 2023 | DAY: SATURDAY | TIME: 04:50PM BST (+6 GMT)

As of Saturday afternoon BST, the “Depression” over NE Bay of Bengal off Chittagong Coast has further moved Northward and weakened into a Well Marked LPA over CTG.
Multispectral satellite animation is showing less marked rotations with deep convection mostly over land, far from center.
It is being located over CTG district, Bangladesh.

★MAX WIND(1MIN AVG):-
Average Maximum Wind speed in radius of 50km from the low level center at 4pm Today is 40km/h. Gusting up to 50km/h.

★DYNAMIC ANALYSIS:-
Due to the system being overland it is unlikely to intensify further and dissipate completely soon.
.
•Due to the aforementioned conditions,  the system is likely to dissipate completely within next 12-24 hours.
• The system had peaked 55kph(~1min) with gusting up to 70kph.

★MOVEMENT:-
It has moved on Northward direction during the past 6 hrs with the average speed of 14 km/h.
*From the present location, it could move N/NNE and dissipate.

★LANDFALL:-
Already happened today over CTG coast.

★WARNING:–
Chittagong coast could continue to experience 30-40 kph winds or gust till tonight.

★ADVISORY:-
Fishermen & Small boats are requested to not venture into the Northeast Bay of Bengal & neighborhood areas during next 12-24 hours.

★RAINFALL:-
Due to the direct influence of the System, rainfall activity over Chittagong and Barisal Division may continue till tomorrow. And it is likely to reduce thereafter.

আরো উত্তর দিকে অগ্রসর হয়ে চট্টগ্রাম উপকূল অতিক্রম করেছে এবং দুর্বল হয়ে সুস্পষ্ট লঘূচাপে পরিণত হয়েছে। এটি বর্তমানে চট্টগ্রামের উপর অবস্থান করছে।

★সর্বোচ্চ বাতাস (১ মিনিট স্থিতি):-
নিম্ন স্তর কেন্দ্র থেকে 50 কিমি ব্যাসার্ধে গড় সর্বোচ্চ বাতাসের গতিবেগ আজ দুপুর ৪ টায় ৪০ কিমি/ঘন্টা যা দমকা হাওয়া সহ ৫০কিমি/ঘন্টা পর্যন্ত বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে।

সিস্টেমটি স্থলভাগে চলে আসায় এটির আর শক্তি বৃদ্ধি করা সম্ভাবনা নেই বরং এটি ক্রমান্বয়ে দুর্বল হয়ে শেষ হয়ে যেতে পারে।

• উপরে উল্লিখিত অবস্থার কারণে, এটি আগামী ১২ থেকে ২৪ ঘন্টার মধ্যে পুরোপুরি বিলুপ্ত হয়ে যেতে পারে।

•সিস্টেমটি সর্বোচ্চ 55kph(~1min) গতিবেগ পেয়েছিলো, যা দমকা সহ ৭০ কিমি/ঘন্টা পর্যন্ত হয়েছেলি৷

এটি গত 6 ঘন্টায় 1৪ কিমি/ঘন্টা গড় গতিতে উত্তর দিকে গ্রসর হয়েছে।
*বর্তমান অবস্থান থেকে, এটি বর্তমান অবস্থান থেকে ক্রমান্বয়ে উত্তর/উত্তর উত্তর পূর্ব দিকে অগ্রসর হতে পারে এবং দুর্বল হয়ে শেষ হয়ে যেতে পারে।

এটি আজ চট্টগ্রাম উপকূল অতিক্রম করেছে।

চট্টগ্রাম উপকূলে আজ রাত পর্যন্ত ঘণ্টায় ৩০-৪০ কিলোমিটার বেগে দমকা বা ঝড়ো হাওয়া অব্যাহত থাকতে পারে।

মৎস্যজীবী এবং ছোট নৌকাগুলিকে পরবর্তী 12-24 ঘন্টার মধ্যে উত্তর-পূর্ব বঙ্গোপসাগর এবং আশেপাশের এলাকায় না যাওয়ার জন্য অনুরোধ করা হয়েছে।

সিস্টেমের প্রত্যক্ষ প্রভাবে চট্টগ্রাম ও বরিশাল বিভাগের উপর দিয়ে আগামীকাল পর্যন্ত বৃষ্টিপাত অব্যাহত থাকতে পারে। এবং এর পরে এটি হ্রাস পাওয়ার সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে।
