A Low Pressure Area has formed today over the northern Andaman Sea and adjoining East Central Bay of Bengal. It may intensify into a Depression within the next 24 hours, Deep Depression within 36 hours and a cyclonic storm within the next 2 days.

Cyclone Formation alert issued for Bay of Bengal between 21st to 25th October 2024.

By 24th Evening-25 Oct Morning, The potential cyclone may hit between Diga(WB) to Barishal(BD) Coast as a Severe cyclonic Storm.
